Dean Cercone is a Brooklyn based musician, visual artist and co-owner of the Glove who was raised in the lush valleys and hills of rural Renfrew, PA and the blue collar working class city of Pittsburgh, PA. A broad range of musical genres from calypso to country western inform the 10 plus lofi albums that Cercone has self recorded since 2006. Cercone’s music can be a wildly energetic, melodically charged take on distorted experimentalism and sometimes impassioned, honest and reflective, such as his current acoustic piece “HAUNTED HOUSE”.

Dean Cercone’s “HAUNTED HOUSE” tips a hat to his teenage years in the country. It focuses more on emotive songwriting and moves away from the treble shrilling of his electric guitar pieces that he has honed for nearly a decade in live shows and on albums such as “DEEP REST CALYPSO” and “PAINTING IN THE RAIN”. An album like this hasn't emerged from the artist since the self-released EP “CIRRUS” in 2013.

“HAUNTED HOUSE” was self-recorded in the winter of 2017 at Cercone's residence of seven years, Bohemian Grove and lives up to its title as each song seems to be accompanied by ghosts of the past. Each with their own ghosts that conjure different feelings. These thirteen tracks feel chilling and subdued, but also evoke a familiar feeling that is strangely comforting. This is Dean's most vulnerable release.
